Does Tryndamere count as a fighter or as a marksman?

He builds straight marksmen items, so does that make him a melee marksmen?

Are you going to look into his kit to make sure he doesn't become a too strong or too weak with the refactoring of adc items?

What I mean is that any changes to marksmen itemization will significantly affect both Tryndamere players and the people that play against Tryndamere players. It would be foolish to just pretend that it wouldn't and to not keep an eye on him during the marksmen itemization rework. In fact he is even more tightly tuned according to the state of marksmen itemization than actual marksmen are.

Well fighter because he is there to be in middle of fight. What makes someone fighter isnt his build but his role in fights.

He is a fighter.

He has terrible siege and cannot be relied on for sustained damage in a teamfight end of story.

If they add some wacky new marksmen items like they had in brawlers he might be able to circumvent his weaknesses in team fights.

All I am saying is that a rework on marksmen itemization will naturally significantly affect Tryndamere players, and people who play against Tryndamere.

But I doubt the "marksmen itemization rework" really means "marksmen only"

Its more like "Adc itemization rework". And that means it will affect champions that build adc itemization, like master yi and tryndamere.

Given how tightly tuned they are according to their itemization, a small change that targets and fixes marksmen as a class could break master yi and trynd.

I mean technically teemo is a marksmen, but I highly doubt the "marksmen rework" will actually target teemo.

I don't even teamfight when I play Tryndamere, I just split push and 1v1. That's why I build him BOTRK stattik etc. to split push and make myself more powerful in the 1v1 or 1v2

He's a fighter that really could benefit from a rework due to how his kit works.

I think you're mixing up the terms Marksman and ADC. Marksman is a champion type that is inherently ranged, where as ADC is a role that, while typically described as ranged, is not required to be ranged.
