I avoid bot lane unless I'm with a partner because I don't like relying on someone who will shout at me half the time. That said, I don't actually do as poorly as you think. But those ez games include mid and jungle as well.

Solid batch of champs. It's definitely the way to go, I did it a bit differently
You need a burst midlaners that's a tad more mobile than Anivia though. Syndra, Ahri, and Viktor are strong picks.

I've been playing Ahri consistently since August of 2013 and Viktor since February of 2014. You know, back when people were convinced Viktor was the hipster's champ. I think them being strong picks isn't exactly the reasoning.

Syndra's winrate is in the bottom 10.
Syndra's early game is currently nonexistent. The thing she excelled at.
Syndra is out of the meta.
Syndra has a 2.39% pickrate in Plat+, meaning it's largely the dedicated players maintaining such a shit winrate on her. The only champs who are weaker than her are the ones that are shit because they're too obnoxious when they're strong (Ryze, Kassadin, AP Ekko) or are simply unable to be played at anything less than near the skillcap for consistent, good results (LeBlanc, Azir). So since she's unreliable even at her best, we can assume that Riot didn't want her strong so she's shit.
It's a matter of you being wrong, because again, you have shit for game knowledge.
FantasySniper1 votesSyndra may not be an all-round strong pick, but she's definitely not a weak one. She just greatly depends on the matchup and skill of the player, as she tends to not do well against those that can counter her ultimate or simply be faster with their own burst.

I think she's broken in a sense that she has too much going for her in her kit and it all meshes together a little too well and makes her extremely frustrating to play against unless you hard counter her.

He doesn't do particularly well unless he's against a team that he can't be hard cc'd against. He's completely reliant on his auto-attacks and if he can't hit things, then he's not going to do well. I suggest avoiding him if the enemy team is overly tanky or has more than 2 cc champions.
