I just played a game where someone got the leaf for honor. I didn't honor them. They didn't deal the dps, they only got the most kills. They didn't communicate or do anything that could even remotely get called "positive behavior". They just got last hits on champions.

Who I think did deserve the honor was the person who peeled whenever an enemy was targeting squishy allies. This same person also DID deal most of the dps. This same person did everything in their power to help their allies instead of aiming for just killing the enemy the best.

So after that experience and previous ones like it, I'm basically stuck on the simple fact that this new honor system is absolute crap. It will never even remotely treat the deserving to what they deserve. I'm glad I honored that player, but screw honor in general.

What advantage does the old honor system have over the new? None in my opinion

no progression bar 20000 gmes later still honor level 2 ..... makes me wonder if there is a level 3

For every little kid that just votes for the guy that carried the team instead of paying attention to mechanics and chat, there are just as many of us that actually pay attention and use the system the way it was intended.
