"I'm a Bronze/Silver player. What do I know?"
That line gets thrown around a good bit on here, and it does not help anyone making a case. Avoid that line if you're trying to make a point on game play or balance, pls.

A lot of people say that simply because they know they're going to instantly get op.gg'd and berated for being bronze/silver.

Them being low elo IS a decent point against their understanding of the game.
The problem is, you could tell someone the sky is blue. But they'd find a way to disprove you and say you're wrong (even though what you're saying is an 100% proven fact) simply because you're silver/bronze.

In my experience, I'M the one saying the sky is blue and the low elo guy is the one arguing with me.
Im sorry but bronze is garbage.
Silver is too i can not play tanky champs in low elo because people DO NOT know what an objective is. Go 12 0 8 as morgana mid with near perfect cs and watch as your teamates chase down the katerina support when the other 4 are dead and baron is wide open with waves pushing to enemy. Unless you can take towers and drag by yourself low elo is miserable to see how they have no concept of the game and objective priority. So I can confidently say that bronze and silver are absolutely terrible at the game because they have no concept of how to win the game they just want kills.
Thing is, just saying they’re bad doesn’t actually help the discussion or help them. If you’re higher elo, then you should explain why they are wrong and what the right answer is.
Just saying, “You’re bronze, you know nothing.” Is a cheap way to end an argument with the assumption that you’re right. Honestly when people start calling rank, I get the impression that they don’t actually have a counterpoint to the argument presented.

Im talking specifically about people ranting on posts which they know nothing about. I think that we should have our rank next to our icon so that we can tell if they are noob, bronze or plat to determine how to help the said person. Because I will talk to a noob completely different than i would a plat. But the funny thing is that if you are bronze you really do know nothing unless you just do 10 ranked and stop at that. Id argue silver too. Objective priority is the #1 thing to this game then CS then early game. But bronze if you are a tank or straight AP cannot carry a game without semiintelligent teammates unless you buy sheen or something to take down towers.
If people are ranting and aren’t going to listen, then why are you trying to convince them otherwise?
I know it’s weird, but every player deserves some level of respect and are more than just their rank. If they are saying one thing that you believe to be wrong, explain it. Don’t just use it as justification to point out their rank. That just makes you look lazy.

I bet you some bronze players know more than you in regards to what items work on who at times. Your 'arguments' are a disgrace right now. Hard and honest truth. Period.

I've tried that a lot. Like A LOT. It doesn't help. They're super stubborn and keep "back-talking" whenever I try to keep the conversation civil and fair without resorting to calling out elo. Honestly just makes me upset, especially when they start taking cheap shots at me one way or another.
Then don’t engage.
Sometimes the fight isn’t worth it. And there are a lot of worthless fights online.
Or instead of complaining to your team you help them lol I mean what do I know I started bronze 5this season and am about to be silver 4and guess what I literally just pick fill and mostly get supp and I pretty much just have been using skarner supp .
skarner supp .
That's nasty. I commend you.
I here the "I'm sorry, I'm bad" line a lot too. I will forgive someone for being bad, but I won't forgive them for letting it being an excuse. it's simply a bad attitude to have.
You know that fizz is op and Ryze is too weak hehe
