A Few Small Interface Issues / QoL Changes I'd Like
Trying to get my game set up better for optimal kiting as someone who plays ranged autoattack-based champions quite a bit, I ran into a few issues.
The most major problem is that Player Attack Only Click doesn't interrupt a movement command, meaning it's only useful if you have auto-attack off or have pressed S and want to resume attacking nearby targets. People hail it as the way to prevent misclicks causing death by walking toward an enemy, but you have to have stopped moving for it to accept the attack command. Ideally, it should take the input as an immediate command to stop moving and attack your target whether you're clicking on the target directly or near them. This would also make sense with the recent attack move proximity options.
Second is the inability to use the Target Champions Only mode in conjunction with Attack Move, Attack Move Click, and Attack Only Click. I know this has been brought up a lot in the past, but it would be extremely helpful for kiting when minions/monsters/pets are nearby.
Maybe the attack commands work this way intentionally, but I really think these changes could help those of us who aren't great at manually kiting do it better with no penalty to those who have better precision. I understand that this would also reduce the skill necessary to kite well, but many people I know don't play ADC specifically because kiting with autos is the hardest mechanic in the game to master.
Unrelated and not all that important is the inability to change the champion details pane's location independent of the minimap. IMO, the circular portrait is kinda ruined by the stat pane, but the main direction of movement being a positive slope means that putting the minimap in the bottom left would increase the likelihood of misclicks.
It would also be a nice little touch if we could get an XP range indicator when hovering the XP bar. This would mostly be helpful to junglers when ganking to either avoid taking XP so the laner(s) can get a level or taking XP so they can get a level before going in, but also useful for laners who have been zoned off the wave hard enough that all they can do is try to pick up what XP they can.
