I play quite a bit of Karma and thought I'd give my impressions of the changes now that they've had a while to settle.

  • The root duration increase is great. The tether range extension was also a much needed fix since staying within AA range for 2 seconds to land it was often suicide without R->W.

  • The removal of R->E damage isn't as bad as I expected.

  • The passive change isn't really noticeable if you have always built 40% CDR (giving an almost instantaneous second ult in a fight if you R->E your tank as they engage).

  • Currently, her biggest strength seems to be that many people forget she exists and exactly what her abilities do. This is fading as she's picked more in professional play.

I'm aware that since she was just given an update, more changes are unlikely for a year or more, but here are some possibilities for improvement IMO:

  • Reverse the function of her root now that she has no reason to close to melee range (shield damage is gone), making the root apply if the tether is broken. Increase the tether range, but not application range, to give opponents a similar chance to prevent the root. Keep the R->W mechanic the same, only giving the second healing tick if Karma keeps the tether for the full duration.

  • Bring back 6 rank skills.

  • Increase ult cooldown and restore 2 charge system. Make casting an empowered ability double the ability's cooldown, preventing two R->Qs within 3 seconds.

  • Move passive to ult, and give a passive befitting Karma's name. Something like increased damage to champions who have damaged allied champions within X seconds, or a retuning of her pre-rework passive. If she were released as a new champion, there's no doubt that her passive would be part of her ult and she'd have an actual passive.

  • Restore shield damage for non-champion targets, allowing for instant Q->R->E waveclear when a lane needs to be pushed and left immediately. On rare occasions, the damage could be useful for clearing minions blocking skillshot engages, as it was before 5.11.

  • Make R->Q travel full range regardless of collision to emphasize her poking and punish her for letting enemies get too close.

I like what you are attempting to do but you are giving Karma way too much power. 2 charge system wont happen unless they tone all the mantra stuff way down. Passive to ult would be nice but I don't think it is a big problem how it is now.

Also R>E wave clear just on minions/monsters would just be silly, and her Q passing through minions would not be balanced.
