Lucian mains, how vital is your W?

Beyond the movement speed bonus, I don't see much of a reason why he has this ability. It deals magic damage with rather poor base scaling (imo anyway. I'm sure someone can tell me otherwise, but I don't see this being leveled up for its scaling), scales with 90% of a stat he doesn't build (unless it's AP Lucian), and gives him some poke range for a short range ADC.

To me this ability feels a bit unneeded on his kit. But I don't main him (I play him sometimes) so I don't know.

Its mostly just for procing his passive imo and maybe getting the speed boost before ulting or in a fight.

It breaks spell shields, that part is nice.

I don't play Rusian, but that's probably the best function it has.

Not a Lucian main, however my brother plays him a lot. From what I've gathered, it's essential for kiting while using The Culling, other than that it's just spell fodder for passive.

It's useful for activating your passive, and using it with your Ult makes your Ult easy to land. It feels pretty smooth to me and a good ability but idk what others think
