Trying to match Playstyle

So basically, since the whole Dynamic Queue thing, I've gotten the short end of the stick. I can't play what I want to play. So I have to learn a different champion for different lanes. So, I'm looking to get a champion for mid lane. However, I'm looking to fit my playstyle. I have a hyper tank mindset. I have played Annie, and I actually am not too bad at her, but I have a really weak start and her abilities are short ranged. I like sustain, in regen, lifesteal, spellvamp, etc. Even plain old tankiness is fun. I am not a fan of being poked to death by long range pokers that I can't catch.

So basically, I need a champ that has sustain, counter to long range safe poke champs. Any ideas?

I might give Vladimir a shot. he's pretty straightforward, has lots of sustain and some pretty nice all-in dmg as well, and he has ranged auto attacks. He gets decently tankier than most APs due to his passive, too.

There's Vlad, who has pretty good sustain, especially with windspeaker's blessing.

Blitz may be worth a try; people discount him because he's more common as a support, but his burst is nothing to dismiss, and a lot of mid laners at low elo don't expect it. They also typically have trouble dodging blitz hooks, because people in bronze usually lock into one role and play it over and over, but are kind of bad at others. Just don't build tank. Grab a lich bane, a ludens, rabadons... you should do fine. Not to mention his ability to punish people who don't know how to creep block your grab, so you can straight up violate their personal space from outside of tower range and start combo'ing them.

Lissandra is notorious for having some pretty good sustain and being kind of hard to kill but providing some great damage.

Galio is a good pick because there are a lot of tanky options you can choose from, and he unexpected in the mid lane and can become pretty tanky.

I would also recommend trying Lux for the hell of it. She's super easy to play because her e is easy to land, and landing any ability followed up with an auto attack will instantly proc thunderlords... she's always been strong in the mid lane, and as long as you practice up a bit you should do pretty well with her. There's a reason some people call her "Freelo cheerleader"
