I want to play Irelia more aggressively in lane, so I built a rune page with 14.3 armor and 24.3% attack speed. Can I solo Gromp fast enough to come back and clear the minion wave, or is this not a viable strategy at all? I'm thinking of taking Doran's blade as well, instead of corrupting potion.
Alex h87213 votes1st off in the new jg Gromp (and krugs) spawn a bit later than before so by the time you finish killing the melee minions in the 1st wave will be dead.
Also doing this will set back your jungler in both gold an xp compared to the enemy jg.

Rewt2 votesyou wont get xp really. you need smite to get a jungle item so that you can get XP from the jungle. if you want gromp to fuck your day and take out a portion of your hp for 2 minions worth of xp be my guest. but if you dont have a jungle item clearing the jungle is pretty pointless if you are doing it for XP.
