Daytime VS night time - the autofill effect

I was just wondering if any others have noticed a huge skew in game quality between day and night time with autofill? I know I'm just in silver but at night the quality of the games feels so good and it actually feels like you have a chance to win each game and its based on who plays better. Early day and mid day however its just a roll of the dive who got a jg/supp autofill and who got a main. I know there is much I can do to improve my own play but it seems hard when you have a lane and or role filled by some one that has no idea how to play it and then the game is just a stomp.

any others with this experience? I'm thinking of just packing in the ranked play during the day due to this and just doing norms in the day ranked at night.
