He deals so fucking STUPID damage with his unavoidable W. Do something. He is easily one of the most unfun Champs to play against

Brand has no mobility, is very squishy, and he depends on skillshots. If you buy boots and juke his abilities, he can do literally nothing to you.

Also, with the new stat shard system, you can bring extra MR to any game without investing any gold.

I see. When everyone else is saying he is broken, he is. But when I say it, I just gotta buy boots. The boards really sucks

The people who say he's broken are lacking in mechanics, it's as simple as that. Brand is a champion that relies very heavily on players that position poorly, don't have a grasp of his range, and/or just can't react fast enough.

Somebody posted a link some time ago that it's quite literally impossible to avoid his W if you dont have a dash or boots

Then position correctly? If you position yourself in the center of most champion's abilities you usually can't dodge them (Examples: Xerath R, Zyra R, Lux E, Bard R, Cho'Gath Q, Ekko W, Leona R, etc.) The inability for you to dodge these abilities without items, a dash, or sums doesn't equate to the ability being broken, it equates to your poor positioning.

Lux has the same W only quicker - yet no one complains about that. His W on the other hand is very telegraphed and has a delay.

He's an immobile combo mage that 100% can be stopped by mobility and actually being able to dodge.

Most complaints about Brand come from Bronze and Silver... because they've yet to figure out how to move properly yet.

I have 850k mastery on Brand and people walk out of my W constantly without boots. If that was the case people would land every shot effortlessly.

I've also faced Brands and have dodged W multiple times. I think people with higher then 60 ping have issues, but that's just lag. I play with 35.

i agree he is very unfun to play against. his W has a good range and decent size area too, so his early lane is a pain in the ass. basically forces you under tower until he runs out of mana and has to back. Granted that leaves his more vulnerable to ganks, but I prefer not to rely on my jungler being good... or even around (hey it happens). building mobility is a good counter, but that takes a little time still that gives him advantage on lane pressure. he is about as fun to play against as a heimer. just have to let them run out of mana then hope you don't get stunned when you engage.

i would be down for the area or range of his W to be reduced. I think that would make things more manageable.

It sounds pretentious (but it's unfortunately true) usually Brand is a problem at Gold levels and below because players haven't figured out how to capitalize and destroy him the moment he steps forward to harass. His pillar really isn't that hard to dodge and his E forces him to put himself in range.
