Does Knight's Vow replace Face of the Mountain?

Or should you build both? Is it situational? Which one do you build first? I've been going with the Vow first then the face.

Gold income items are crucial to the support role because most of a support's gold is passively earned or earned from assists.

Well yeah, but I'm saying is that should I go for the full T3 version of the item, or if I could go with fused form with SS?

If the enemy team is heavy AD both work well. Plus being able to swap the buff mid fight depending on who is doing damage in order to maximize healing done by allies while you tank paired with shielding both yourself and that person is a pretty big deal.

I especially like vow on the practice game I played with Rammus. Lots of potential there imo.
