Wuju Style to reset Yi auto attack resets?

SlashStriker··2 votes·1,678 views

Currently many Yi players, including me, use meditate for Auto Attack reset which probably is a good thing but Meditate is defensive ability while Wuju Style is offensive ability. Because of that shouldn't Yi get Auto Reset after Activating Wuju Style?

I also think if we are suppose to use Meditate as Auto Reset shouldn't Meditate cooldown be lower if we cancel it instantly? I mean thats 35 second cooldown just because of auto reset. Thats huge cooldown for a basic ability thats being used for auto reset

at least i hope Riot will read it. I mean 35 seconds cooldown spell that gives auto resets. At least they should encourage it in some way if they plan to keep it

i understand the auto reset on his W is not that reliable. its an over time buff it would be too strong.

I mean. his passive is basically an auto rest every 3 autos. you give 3 auto resets to good yi players it becomes a problem especially when yi can kill you with 2-3 autos late game its going to be instant if it isnt already

what are you talking about man? You mean E is over time buff? Double Strike deals 50% damage on 2nd attack and you use mana for auto attack resets and put 35 seconds cooldonw on meditate. Thats huge tradeoff on defensive ability where Wuju Style is offensive ability

An auto reset on top of an auto reset?

he doesn't need the auto reset when he can stick to his target.

As I said Meditate Auto Reset is advanced technique used by most of Yi players. Its not about sticking to your target but for the extra damage for instance you need 1 attack and ignite to kill your opponent you can use meditate auto reset and ignite and run away

means you're procing an auto rest faster with an another auto reset. it doesn't sound right

over time doing true damage per auto. its not a simple just damage with 1 auto like jax or shyvana w. imagine if jax w allowed him to do bonus damage for few seconds or shyvanna did the same thing. they wouldn't have the reset.

Shyvana gets bonus magic damage on each auto attack that shreds tanks and her Q resets her attack timer making it 3 attacks

jax has attack speed steroid which stacks with each attack and the passive on his R gives him bonus magic damage. His W Empower Attack is Auto Reset which is not 35 seconds cooldown but much lower

So whats your point exactly? I mean we are already using Meditate as auto reset but that puts is in huge tradeoff which is the 35 seconds cooldown on ability that is suppose to be used as a defensive mechanism. I can't understand what you try to achieve exactly

no no no. thats her e. its a skillshot. and it doesn't reset her auto attack. don't change the subject. we're talking about the specific topic of aa reset.

neither jax or shyvanna have true damage if u wanna go that route. true damage is the strongest thing in the game

Shyvana Twin Bite is auto attack reset and is considered 2 attacks making it total of 3 attack with the reset. So all onhit effects are applied 3 times which is the bonus damage on her W and her E

Wuju Style is the strongest true damage in the game? You know what Vayne with Phantom hit (old sated devourer / new rageblade) does exactly?
