Fevor of battle on evelynn?

Has anyone toyed with this on eve? Typically i go thunderlords because its reliable burst damage however Evelynn does get in a fair amount of auto attacks in fights and I would assume that her E would proc fever twice meaning she should start at 4 stacks and since her E is also an auto attack reset you can go for auto E auto so that would bring it up to 8 stacks almost instantly.

I did a little bit of testing So Evelyn Ravage (E) does proc fever twice and the second swipe also gets additional damage from fever which is expected because that's what Ravage is meant to do (2 swipes that proc on hit effects) the only reason i questioned it is because fever says abilities have a 2 second CD so there is a possibility the interaction would only allow 1 stack but doesn't

Also note about fever is if you Q before you E your E will still proc even though technically it's an ability and there is supposed to be a 2 second cooldown.

according to leagues's wikia fever has a base damage increase per stack of 0.90 and increases by 0.77 for each level meaning that at level 1 it adds an additional 7.2 damage at 8 stacks and at level 18 each stack is worth 13.99 so at 8 stacks you get 111.92 damage per hit.

now lets look at thunderlords which is a little more difficult so i'm mostly going to be looking at 0 items vs 1 or 2 max item builds on eve

so thunderlords states that At 3 stacks, the target is dealt 10 - 180 (based on level) + (30% bonus AD) + (10% AP) magic damage in an area around them.

runes = 8.5 ad and 25.6 AP + AP and AD from masteries = 11 bonus AD and 29 AP at the start of the game So this means at level 1 with no items thunderlords will deal 10 + (3.3 from ad) + (2.9) from AP = 16.2 damage every 25 seconds which DPS wise is really weak but burst potential should also be taken into consideration.

Now lets look at a typical AP build runes and masteries a 15 AP + 10 AD at level 18 + 25.6 AP and 8.5 AD from runes = 40.6 AP and 18.5 AD Build 1 Standard AP build: item 1402+ 60AP item 3152+60 AP item 3020+ 0 item 3001 +60 AP item 3100+ 80 AP item 3116+100 AP = 360 total AP

Through some other item calculations like deathcap at max you typically hit somewhere between 320AP(AP build with hourglass instead of rylais) to 513AP(with deathcap replacing rylais)

These assumptions leave out infernal dragon

So now lets look at the damage output 10 x 18 =180(base) + (0.30 x 18.5) which is 5.55 + (0.10 x 320) which is 32 = 217.55 10 x 18 =180(base) + (0.30 x 18.5) which is 5.55 + (0.10 x 513) which is 51.3 = 236.85 Now this can only be done in a small area and can only be performed once every 15 seconds however burst does have some advantages over DPS

So at 8 stacks of fever it would require about 2 hits to be on par with thunder lords depending on the build however you also have to consider the ramp up damage that will be there as well for example the 2nd swipe from Ravage + the auto reset + Q will put you instantly put you at 7 stacks so the amount of time getting max stacks on Evelynn is pretty fast meaning that within the same time window it takes to proc thunderlords you will probably already have max stacks of Fevor of battle.

Also its important to consider that fevor applies Physical damage while thunderlords is magic damage so resistances are another thing to consider.

so TL:DR Why not use fevor of battle over thunderlords

if you are actually making use of fervor on evelynn then you are either tank evelynn or enemy team is really bad

you are extreeeeemely fragile and squishy as evelyn.. you are implying you'll get more than a few hits off in any elo past silver it wont work i think.

Thunderlords is good because evelynn does have nice burst and i dont think she can be transitioned into a fighter

Fever is getting nerfed, so IDK if people will take it on her next season.

Unless it's old fashioned BOTRK Eve, I'd honestly just stick with Thunderlords.

Evelynn typically focuses on bursting squishy targets. If you're reasonably fed, you won't need fervor. If you aren't, then fervor won't win you the fight. That's how I see it anyway. Exception: fervor may be viable on tank Evelynn.

How about Stormraider's Surge, though? I've considered toying with it on Eve.
