Are Champion Mastery Chests broken?

I haven't gotten a single one in probably over 3 weeks. I have 3 of 5 available and I just never see any. All I ever get are keys. I've got 4 full keys but no boxes.

Play different champs, you cannot get a chest using a champ that has already earned one.

Hi! In order to get chests, you need to satisfy a few criteria. Firstly, did you or a player in your premade get a grade above A+ in your game? If that's not happening, you can't get a chest. Secondly, are you playing a champion without a golden border on your champion page? The champions on the champion page with golden borders are ones you have already gotten a chest on this season. If you or a premade player get a S- or above but the champion you're playing has already gotten a chest this season, then you will not get another chest. You need to play another champion! Thirdly, is the champion you're playing owned by you? Free week champions are not eligible for boxes. (I'm not sure about rental champions though. Can anyone clarify this aspect?)
