Why is gunblade so popular on kat on op.gg??

item 3146 > item 3157 > item 3135

Is literally all i see. I'm a kat main so this seriously peaks my curiosity... I ALWAYS go item 3116 or item 3285 > whatever i need atm. But never gunblade. Why is it good on her?? Obviously its working.

because not only does kat have hybrid scalings but its active provides a supplement to her burst pattern. it's literally a point and click AP scaling instant nuke for like 1/3rd of a squishies HP bar.

She auto attacks a lot in her combos early game so revolver is good for that and it adds a ton of damage to her combos once she completes Gunblade. Dual scaling + sustain is also a nice perk

She has decent Ad hybrid scaling. Helps with her burst as an assassin. Helps give a little healing as she one shots someone.

kat has hybrid scalings, the active provides a little bit of extra damage to her burst, and it grants omnivamp.

gunblade is basically the bloodthirster for ghybrid scaling champions. she regains a lot of health through it.
