How do you beat Illaoi?

I looked through my champion pool to take a look at this and I came up with a few if you're up for them or own them to try. : I've never lost to an Illaoi as Darius, the sustain on his Q plus his damage can turn trades to your favor, plus he's just innately strong. : Never underestimate a good silence, plus he's tanky which will help with your survival. Not to mention his mini warmog's passive. : Even with his nerfs, the Kench remains unbenched. His Q is abusive and ranged. If you can land the passive stacks you should win. : Sustain for days. (He's not meta, but hey, a Vlad lane is about as annoying as a top adc) General Tips: Avoid tentacles whenever possible. Avoid becoming vesseled. If you do become the vessel, don't tank tentacle shots to clear them, you can usually hit a tentacle once before it strikes then hit the next two to clear it. Assists on tentacles now count so you don't have to clear all 3 by yourself. Avoid your all in if you think her ult is up, don't do it, just don't. I've seen teams go in and underestimate the ults power then get aced.

Man, I have beaten with top, and it says a lot. If she grabs your spirit do not allow her to hit you both your spirit AND your champ, it is like if you were being hit by 1.6 tentacles instead of just one.

Also, always remove her tentacles.

If she jumps into a TF just run from the first moment and you will avoid all the damage.

It is not about an specific champ, it is about her play pattern, avoid being double hit and avoid the tentacles, then she is dead, also currently the recommended build she has doesn't help her because doesn't add bonus AD for her ratios, is better and helps her to stop her targets from running, and if you just need tankyness she should build , activating it while ulting ensures a ton of damage.

Contest for her tentacles if you can, if not then just get rid of them after minion wave pushes further. Her q isn't instant, leaving you some room to react and avoid getting hit. When she ults, keep moving. Those tentacles attack where you're standing but their attack speed is slow as ****. Try to sidestep as many tentacles as you can to avoid getting hit. As far as I see, something like riven or renek would give her a real hard time landing her blows, and they're tanky enough to all in even if she manages to pull out your vessel.

Kinda thought you would have been able to see Quinn is a good pick against her. You have range, disengage, strong early damage, and your blind can mess up the ult because now she can't see where you are to jump to you. Additionally, your E flips her around during her Q

She is easy to counter. Any hard CC and mobility.

Just Kit her or stun her

It's not necessarily champions. It's the mass of quivering flesh that occupies the space between computer chair, and keyboard, that determines if/whether you can beat Illaoi.
