''Yasuo is hard to play and master, he requires a lot of skill '' Except you forgot one thing.

If he required so much skill then why is he the #1 most played champion WITH a win rate over 50%.....?

I mean idk about you guys but something seems fishy.

Yasuo mid and top have a pretty experienced playerbase, rather than consisting of largely noobs.

Educate yourself.

Actually yasuo is #24 most played champ. Seems you should be complaining more about Soraka, Ahri, Blitzcrank, Gangplank, Sivir, Jinx, Sona, Janna, Ashe, and Jhin, all of which have higher playrates and higher winrates than yasuo... It all depends on what website/data you use champion.gg

Here's my deal with Yasuo.

He CAN be amazing with a lot of skill, but he doesn't NEED a lot of skill.

When you play as Yasuo you can really pull of some amazing plays, his skill cap is through the roof. I've seen Yasuo's kite around enemies in 2v1, widdling them down and it is quite the spectacle. He can take a lot of awareness to pull of some crazy stunts.

That being said, the skill isn't something needed. His skill cap is high but starts low, similar to Zed, who I find easy to pick up but really hard to master.

See the graph that has win-rate by number of games played as Yasuo. Note the winrate doesn't peak past 50% until 40-50 games played.

Also your data disputes your own point. The more games people play as Yasuo, the higher % of wins he will have. The people who play Yasuo are playing him repeatedly (hence the large pick rate), and playing Yasuo frequently increases your win rate drastically (hence the higher overall win rate). It's only logical that the more games that have been played with a champion, the more success you will have.

my thoughts on champion skill level.

unless your challenger level you aint got no skills to speak of, regardless what champion you play.

play rate doesnt mean they mastered him. hes super fun to play and has many different ways to play him. why would u not play him is the question. im not a yasuo main but i have 300 + games on him and would play him even more if it meant i could have fun with him like i do.
