The new swain

smh the made minor changes to his abilities and items that added up for a major shift in play style. i had a 65% win rate on swain and after the change my win rate is 1 out of 3. he no longer plays like a burn over time mage but now with the changes he plays like a drain tank. the items he uses and his abilities all got a damage reduction BUT with and his ult no longer runs him out of mana.

so not he is a tank that survives by draining the health from others. its not swain they didnt keep him to his core they just changed who he is in total. this isnt swain but some new champ

They've already said Swain came out significantly weaker than intended and they'll most likely buff him. For sure they're going to fix the 0.25 second cast animation on ulting since that's a bug.

Also, are you maxing Q>W>E? Now that Torment gets full damage amp at rank 1 and has better AP scaling/lower base damage, there's no reason to max it before Decrepify and Nevermove.

start maxing Q and W before E now

swain is still a DoT mage and he does more DoT than he did before

thing is he exchanged some of his reliability (old Q) for zone control and autonomy. he's less faceroll but, going by kit alone, much stronger -- and healthier
