Shyvana's a mere wannabe (and in a weird balance state), while Aurelion Sol doesn't quite fit the fantasy for me. Not to mention Deathwing's really unique kit (permanently immune to CC, but can't be healed or buffed by allies) fits the dragon fantasy far more than the aforementioned two.
So when do we get to play a real evil dragon and not just an ambiguously-aligned one?
There is 1 problem with that. Dragons were a thing in League of Legends. But they are Extinct. The last one was killed by Shyvana. Basically the Rune wars Killed off a lot of the ancient species and only the hardy Quick reproduction species like humans survived. (with exceptions of Ionia relatively untouched by the wars)
So unless Riot wants to go "Hey Look some dragons actually survived!" Which i mean. They have retconned so much shit to actually make the lore of LoL not a jumbled mess I could see it. Until they go in and change the lore. Dragons are dead.
HoTS just got their esports scene killed by Blizzard, do we really want to compare it to league.
