My team got completely stomped by this Quinn last game. I looked her up, and, lo and behold, she was miles above everyone on my team (all Bronze 1 except for me, Silver 5). What gives?

you do realize that their team had a bronze 4 on their team right? what does that say to you?

his team was all balanced S5 and B1 are basically the same, the other team was clearly abusing the system and using a bronze 4 so the high silver could have an easier game to carry.

but really, unless there was a gold or plat in the room with a B5 and the rest being B1 S5, its not that big of a deal, B1 should be ok with a S2.

there are people who got gold last season, had bad luck on promos, and cant get out of low silver because of the people they get matched with, it doesnt really matter how good you are when some guy on your team feeds a champ that becomes able to kill you in 2 seconds even if you are say a fed adc and a zed ults you then laughs and shadows back before you can hit him while you die to his ult + duskblade. if they are boosting they could have a feeder ruin it, like if that yi got fed early the quinns rank wont matter

A) This is what happens when we remove Solo/duo queue permanently and only have Dynamic queue.

B) This is extremely tame in comparison to some of the MMR gaps I have seen as a diamond level player on my plat and gold level accounts which seem to be the level most commonly seeing MMR skill gaps between the lowest rated player on a team and the highest rated player on a team of 500 or more regularly. So, it could have been way worse. I've personally seen a silver 2 or 3 player who was 800 MMR below me in my plat 1 promo game on my team.

I really want Solo-Queue back. :/

I was doing fine in lane before Quinn roamed bot and started 1-shotting me. It was a blind-auto-bounce-auto and I was dead. Corki never stood a chance, either.

The b4 also said he was duoing with the s2. That made me very sad.

You need to understand one thing. It doesn't matter what elo Quinn is, if she gets fed, she will stomp your team. This is why you ward good and play safe, or have your jubgler camp her to prevent roam and shut down.

Late game she falls off, it just early mid game. Don't feed her.
