What the hell is with this ranked system. I win five games in a row, lose one, win one, and lose another. Guess what my LP is. Just guess. 6. After doing really well for five games, I screw up and lose two nonconsecutively and I'M BACK TO SINGLE DIGITS WTF. Why do I gain 16 and lose 21?? I feel extremely cheated by this.

If you look at my match history, you will find extremely long loss streaks as well as extremely long win streaks (9 wins in a row at one point; not sure about the loss streak length), but I feel like they're about balanced. There's no way in hell I deserve to only be gaining 16 LP per win when I'm punished so harshly. :/

It is because your MMR is lower then your rank so the system gives you more point loss when you lose games.

Yes, but why? I've still won more games than I've lost. With a win rate of 50%+, why is my MMR so low?

Awhile ago you went 3-14 in ranked games.

5 games is not enough to make up the difference yet.

If you keep going 5-2, it will catch back up, and eventually surpass such that your MMR exceeds your current ranking.

Also if you are playing with a premade, losing those games will cost a lot more LP and you wont gain as much as you would solo (I didnt check your match hist so idk if you do or not) im just saying
