Is shield bash not working as intended or is it just utterly useless?

I thought it would be OP on Taric when I read it but after using it I have come to the conclusion that it belongs in a trash bag at the bottom of a dumpster under a gutter that is dripping rust.

You know it works right it most of the damage scales off the how big the shield is your build does almost nothing for the shield you only have two health items and tarics shield scales off of health.

It has a 4 second cooldown as does Taric's shield. I had 3.2k hp with elixirs going which makes the shield value 384 every 4 seconds. That should be about 75 damage every 4 seconds. I also had full build for over 15 minutes so you can't use "that's just full level 18 damage though" as an argument. If you figure 50% resistances that means I only procced it 8 times which is total bs if it is functioning as intended.

You do realise you have only 2 seconds to use S. Bash proc after your shield expires?

You do realize what Taric's passive is and that casting followed by autoing is what his kit is? It's garbage on most champs. The bonus resistances is low as hell, the actual bash also isn't super useful for most champs.

Define worked. It "works" on Taric but I was really not expecting it to only do 270 damage in 46 minutes. I feel like scorch would be 3x higher and he doesn't even use it that well. I guess I'll just switch to presence of mind which refunded 5k mana in 28 minutes.

I'm finding it Hella good on naut and thresh. It's not going to win you the lane but it's great as a supplement

tbh i wouldn't trust it with taric even if he used it after his guardian shield came on. slap it on a naut on the other hand q aa w with a sheen destroys squishies
