"Outplay mechanics" are nothing but cheap gimmicks.
I honestly think so, to get at what I mean consider this scenario:
You're playing against a Zed, you're beating him up and so he turns tail and runs, planting a living shadow in one direction and running in the other, now, if you chase Zed, once he's dragged you far enough away from his living shadow, he will simply just swap places with it once you catch up and slow you, but if you decide to stay close enough to the living shadow all you do his let Zed get away entirely. Honestly, I have a hard time seeing what so amazing and "outplayed", especially when abusing these kind of mechanics against consderably less generalist champions.
If Zed does this to Lee Sin or Ekko or other generalists, I could call it outplayed in a sense because they have similar mobility and cheese mechanics of their own, but against less generalist champs, it's honestly nothing more than a cheese mechanic. To bad Zed players have to be so fucking obnoxius about it as if wow, braindead monkey couldn't do what you just did.
