Jayce has one of the strongest early games i've seen, but does Yasuo counter him with things like the shield, dash, knockup and projectile denial?
I advised my team to ban Yasuo, they laughed and left him open. Enemy picks Yasuo and mops the floor with Jayce during laning phase. We still won late during a nice comeback, but It has me wondering.
FeelsCampedMan2 votesVery, very skill dependant matchup Jayce has the better level one, but after that if he doesn't land his accelerated shockblasts which Yasuo can either dodge or block, he generally loses
Pneumatic2 votesI believe it is a skill matchup for the most part, at least at the moment anyways since Yasuo is slightly overpowered right now. I have seen it go both ways but the last time it happened my Jayce got dumpstered and we won in a similar fashion as you. Jayce hammer form Yas can't do anything to stop him, but if yasuo wind walls his cannon Q that can swing things massively. Still 10/10 would ban him until his nerfs.
Fed by Snu Snu2 votesJayce can win it, but the match up is in favor of Yasuo, especially after PD and Tabi (which are not expensive items to begin with) are finished and Jayce loses 1/3 of his all in damage while not being a champion who can do consistent damage until very much later in the game.
