Someone had a nice idea of w not long ago. First cast like Creeping Death, grants ar and MR, the second toggle changing resistance boost for AiE DoT, third cast deactivate damage heal damage.

If this is done, I think his olo should do more damage than duo w, as duo w covers a larger surface area. Since solo w is not castable on minions, a solo DoT AoE w should deal more damage when alone. Given Mirds movespeed, this would make ganks just a wee bit better to escape from.

Also, the MR and AR first cast should grant movespeed, and you lise movespeed when you switch to damage w.

That would be enough to let Mord be a viable solo laner. Obviously no exp passive on solo w, as using Ar and MR boost, one can stop the enemy from last hitting, thus doing something similar to exp passive.

Duo w works the same as it dies now.

Current Mord - true. Pre-rework Mord - you can't be more wrong. Hence the buff idea to return him to solo laner status.

So I have recently got into Morde but I still don't know how and where the best place to play him is. Botlane was ok but i was harassed and had low gold income. Jungle morde was cool but ganking wasn't the best (Maybe since they were all mobile). And solo lane is too scary to try right now.

Expecially before rework he countered each and every Assassin in the game. I loved seeing Fizz, Akali, LB and Diana despair against me.

Yeah, pretty hard even. Morde WANTS to be engaged on by Yasuo, being an anti assassin due to his shield and his nuclear tipped Q.

His E harass can't be blocked by windwall, allowing him to wittle yasuo down.

Heck, I don't even bother dodging tornados after 6, wanting for him to press R and ult to his doom.

Morde's E isn't a projectile, so yea, his E does go through Yasuo's windwall, making Yasuo's W 100% useless against Morde(excluding Dragon Ghost).

Haha Riot ruined his solo lane with the rework so that they can make him into a duo lane melee carry in order to try to diffuse some of the bottom lane meta a bit.

Garen and skarner came out pretty well but you know skarner got buffed and he became pretty op then he got nerfed back down. Darius also came out well but he is still a huge lane bully.

imo darius and garen were the only ones that worked out. darius finally got an identity beyond "lane bully kses everybody" and garen got a cool, unique mechanic that is still simple enough that new players can understand

The reworks are mostly fail though because all their kits are still equally binary. Causing any change to the state of the game through new items masteries or metashifts to make these champions either retard overpowered or retard underpowered The cycle of nerfs and buffs continues.
