"Waaaah I built full AP why do I get oneshot by someone who built full lethality!"

Do people legitimately say this without thinking over what they just said? The forums and reddit is just ADC and mage mains circlejerking about how "weak" they are.

I main Kennen and Vladimir and I am far from weak.

I am just sick of the 100-0 gameplay.

Vladimir is just something else, top 3 most busted mages in the game because of how safe, tanky, how much damage he deals and the sheer amount of sustain even when affected by grievous wounds.

Remember when mages and adc actually went a pure defensive item instead of full damage

Those were the days. "Build defense" was a legitimate advice, now if you tell ADC to build a Randuin's, they'll tell you to go to hell. For good reason too, because that shit fking doesn't work.

Works perfectly fine.

Tell me a nice adc build to counter totally lethality

There is none your role is countered by another role. It must be shocking that ADCs who build full damage are squishy wooooow.

By that same logic, Assassins shouldn't have been complaining about getting 1 shot by ADCs precrit rework. They built full damage; of course they should blow up when faced with another film damage champion and a utility based champ.

Akali is SO HOT2 votes

The problem wasn't that Assassins were being one shot. If you don't build any defense and you die instantly you shouldn't be surprised. The problem that was addressed in the ADC itemization rework was that they were doing too much damage to squishies too quickly while doing it from a safe distance. Not to mention they had a support protecting them and buffing them up the whole time making everything easier for them. For it to be fair you either have to take away some of the damage or some of the safety and the balance team chose to take away some of the damage. ADCs still do a lot of damage to squishies who build no defense, just not as much as before.

My thing is that they were full damage. Why shouldn't they be doing tons of damage to other squishies when other squishies get to do tons of damage to them. And technically, if you're walking into an ADC and their support solo, you deserve to die. It would be broken if suddenly assassins and mages were just allowed to 2v1 just because its their "job" to kill the ADC(which, by the way, their defenses and self peel has been so laughably diminished over the patches that anyone can kill an ADC, even tanks and certain supports). ADCs arent alotted nearly as many defensive items as mages and assassins but are still expected, magically, to do less damage because they're "ranged." Which seems really unfair to me. If you're building full damage, you should get to do the most damage in the game. Mages are ranged, have CC, are often AoE, and have tons of defensive options and yet they still do massive amounts of damage, often more than a fed ADC. Assassins have shittons of mobility, can abuse bruiser items such as steraks and deaths dance and maw, and generally are allowed to 1v2 because of all this; and yet they often also get to do more damage than most ADCs.

The argument that a class should be defenseless, have no to limited forms of self peel, and have to be strapped to a support champion to survive but also not get to do immense amounts of damage despite all of these drawbacks and flaws is BS and always has been.

Except the difference is precrit rework adcs had assassin burst AS THEIR DPS WITH MORE RANGE AND SAFER

And safer, huh. That's why a stiff breeze can one shot then, right? Because they're safer. Or that's why they're the only class of champions that's nearly obligated to remain strapped to the hip of a support or tank, right?

There is literally no difference. They are giving up tons of things for their range, from tankiness to agency in their laning phase, to significant lackings in self peel and personal safety. They literally build nothing but damage; ergo, they should be doing immense damage. Afterall, mages like vel'koz, xerath, anivia, and zoe get defensive options, extreme range, and massive amounts of damage and yet have to sacrifice nothing in terms of agency or self peel; they can split push, they can solo lane, and they dont have to cram themselves up their support/tanks ass and pray that they have most of their front lobe and will save them from the assassins who also get extreme mobility, high burst damage, and a multitude of defensive items.

GA. Done.

first item? i am excited to try it asap.

THANK YOU

Pika Fox1 votes

I mean, while its not a garbage first item, i didnt say get it first item. 2nd completed item is generally fine. BFS > Zeal > IE > GA or razor > zeal > ga.

Shouldnt need GA til then with proper warding, map watching, staying safe. By the time you get GA, youre also grouping, so if the assassin somehow gets by your team, you have GA.

Shukr4n1 votes

since OP states that adc did whine a lot about lethality, it means that i will feed during all game and lately, i will get GA to counter that simple squishy eater.

item 3116 item 3151 item 3165 the hp alone should prevent a 1-shot. And then there's item 3157 for armor to negate the armor pen from lethality... but not from cleaver or last whisper item.

Mages are in a weaker spot than in seasons past in many cases - not all. Part of this though is also due to having a harder time getting access to adc's and supports to blow up mid/late game.

Adc's... most adc's - and some toplaners (hi fiora, etc.) got spoiled last year with how squishy they were allowed to build and not get deleted for it like they would in previous years. And so most adc's think it's normal to go 4 crit into lifesteal or last whisper item and be unkillable even if you don't have a lulu right by you to ult the second you take damage. If they aren't building ga, maw, or some other resistance item and lifesteal on top of that... then they should be 1-shot potential to enemies with burst for the entire game. Back in the day, many adc's would have 3rd item ga just to survive midgame teamfights. And if you didn't do that, then you better position really well and wait out enemy burst and engage before you show your face or you would get deleted.

Same type of thing with fiora and riven players last year with stuff like triforce into ravenous into death's dance (or death's dance into duskblade/ghostblade for rivens). Like sorry, but you have no durability. So you deserve to get 1-shot if you fight a bursty opponent or teamfight and get focused. Your lifesteal means nothing if you have no hp or resistances to back it up. But people act like they should be allowed to build that and have the same durability in 1v1 and in teamfights as a darius or renekton with cleaver, randuin's and sterak's. Ummm... no, you shouldn't. Not by a long shot. Sure in an extended trade you win out via lifesteal advantage and higher dps, but you have to be durable enough to MAKE it an extended fight and you just don't have that durability.

People just have that stupid mentality in their heads largely thanks to last season and so they complain when full damage squishies get deleted by a burst champ. The sad part is... some steps were actually taken to somewhat enable this to be reality when it shouldn't be.

A full crit adc shouldn't walk up to an orianna and win a duel if ori has all abilities up and starts fight full hp unless she's far behind in levels and items. An adc or squishy mage with no resistances shouldn't survive a full zed or talon combo (including ult), but nor should the zed or talon survive the burst mage combo w/o full maw in the same type of scenario. A fiora with ravenous should get deleted by the burst from a renekton with cleaver an longsword. Maybe not all in one go in that scenario... but the burst should outweigh the dps of the fiora and she dies to the next burst combo if she doesn't back off... allowing the renekton to build an advantage in lane. Etc., etc. Later in the game with more items obviously the scenario is different.

Yes, people do think this. ADCs have been complaining about full tanks killing them for years, and have yet to figure out that its because they build 0 defensive options.

Shit, ive learned in nexus blitz going tabi + late randuins is my best option on someone like brand just because not getting instagibbed before i can press 4 buttons is kinda important.
