How do you play the matchup and what build do you use (runes, masteries, skill order and items)?

max w and item 3009 and or item 3022, if you kite properly he won't be able to catch you.

pretty much this, except you always want to max E first into melees then max W, rush swifties into mallet.

take flat armor runes, AS quints. and the rest comes down to how good you are at staying just outside darius' E range.

if darius plays it right he can just rush swifties into phage, that MS combined can outrun a teemo, so lay shrooms on your retreat path. Once you get mallet there's no reason for you to ever take more than 2 hits from darius

Asking the same thing I asked to Summoner Grey:

"Darius's E has more range than Teemo's basic attack (550 vs 500). How do you manage to play around it?"

Darius' E is not instant. It takes at least 0,5 seconds to complete. With a bit of reaction, you can distance of more than 100, which should be enough to dodge it.

When I play against Darius I'll run at him and turn around right at the edge of his E range repeatedly to try to bait out a pull.

it has a cast time where you can run away from it, you should try to attack him when he's busy with something else like attacking minions. if he's just running at you like he wants to all in him, just back off and let him walk into strategic placed shrooms.

Pray that his reaction time is mediocre and harrass him when he is performing an action like csing. Minions are buggier than ever; take advantage of creep block to prevent him from closing in to you. Most of the time he will only be able to catch you if he runs straight to you, which is easy to predict; In that case you just back off. Try to trade with him when he uses his Q on minions. You can then outtrade him. If you are losing, building defensively is pointless; play safer and avoid fights, respect his zone and keep rushing your main damage items.

I run normal AP runes, TLD, and all that. I start E, max E first, then max Q.

Basically, just harass him all game, and dodge the E. If he does grab you, wait for his Q, blind him, and walk away from the W (it won't slow or hit you at all). Then go back to harassing him.

I like to start a bork, but a ROA start is also good. End build is: Bork, ROA, Sorc, Liandry's, Frozen Mallet and Rylai's.

Bully Darius pre level 6.

Post level 6 kite him to the best of your ability and have shrooms for retreat. If darius catches you, you're guaranteed to die due to stutterstepping from Darius and W once your blind is off him to keep you slowed, followed by a dunk when you reach low HP or have 5 stacks.

Of course, teemo is kind of a shitty pick the higher the elo you get as he is little more than annoying post level 6 in most of his matchups. Darius has harder counters than teemo (ryze, quinn, jayce, etc.).

-A platinum 5 Darius one trick
