@riotrepetoire gragas sinking back down

I just wanted to raise visibility on the fact that gragas is very rapidly sinking back to his original win rate in regards to mid.

I’ve been away on work since the patch hit, but it’s pretty clear why.

Melee mages have a harder time laning vs ranged champions without compensatory tools to give them avenues to play against them.

my first example of this is fizz who’s animation cancel and subsequent cd and mana refund on W make his cs patterns unpredictable and efficient, further he has two mobility spells which allow him to be slippery.

My second example of this, is Ekko, who’s q can be pretty efficiently spammed without taxing his mana too much.

The thing about it is pre 8.9 gragas already had mana issues, to the point that mana expenditure is always my top concern in lane, and it often involves as a gragas player, moving and behaving in ways in an effort to either corral or bait your opposing Laner into a position where you can hit them with barrel roll and cs with it at the same time, the reason being that metering creeps leaves gragas extremely vulnerable to harass(especially with creep block).

It has not slipped past gragas mains over the past week, that he wasn’t included in compensatory mana changes for Dorans ring, despite gragas being one of the most struggling champions in this regard, and when he arguably needed mana use buffs prior to 8.9. It was especially damaging considering champs like xewrath and Malz got compensation buffs, despite the fact that their mana bars might as well not exist.

So out of concern, is gragas on your radar anymore? I would hate to see you shelf him because you guys felt the buffs unbroke him in mid, when you broke him seconds later.

Please please please, I hope you guys are seeing us gragas mains posting. Please please fix his mana consumption
