Back in the old days league actually had counterplay

Now most champions are pure counterpick. The only actual "counterplay" left for 3/4ths of the champion pool is "have your jungler camp them". Zero-interaction champions are the rulers of the land and it's perfectly okay for champions to be oppressive to the point you can't even get farm against them without dying so long as they suffer from that same issue against other types of champions.

The only champions left with the ability to "counterplay" are champions that are so OP that getting counterpicked just means you're fighting an evenly matched champion.

How the hell does anybody enjoy the game in this state without maining whatever is OP at the time?

atleast you coul counter magic dmg done instead nowadays when every rework has true dmg /ms /shield passive
