Would still really like clarity on Kayn transformation

I don't care if it is something as simple as changing the color of the meter to whichever he has the most of at that time, or if it is something as clear as dividing the total meter into a red half and a blue half. Once one of the halves reaches full, that is the transformation that he unlocks.

OR,

AT THE VERY LEAST

When I move my mouse over his passive bar, give me percentages or something, ...

ANYTHING!!

So true...... Something it feels random, especially if you do a lot of fighting.

The thing is, it doesn't actually work like that. Kayn's transformation into Rhaast or Shadow Assassin depends entirely on who you hit last when that bar fills up. If a ranged orb causes the bar to hit 100%, you get Shadow Assassin, if a melee orb causes it to hit 100%, you get Rhaast.

You could spend the entire game hitting melee champions but if you hit a ranged one last, you get SA.

That is not true. I have absolutely hit a ranged champion last and received a Rhaast transformation.

I do understand that the formula is not so straight-forward as, "you've hit 6 melee champions and 4 ranged champions" though.

The formula is weighted by time so that you gain more value from souls as the game gets later.

This is probably why it will appear as if the last attack is the deciding factor, but it isn't.
