How does anyone play with camera lock on!?

Last match, no matter how many times I clicked the button in the bottom right to unlock my camera, it just wouldn't work. I felt blind. I'd go to help mid and have no real idea what I was getting myself into since my only way of scoping out the situation was checking the health bars above the minimap. I had to put myself in harms way just to be able to get eyes on someone to line up one of Janna's tornadoes. Luckily they were trash and I finished 1/0/13 anyway. Still, I feel like having your camera locked makes so much of the game's higher level mechanics impossible since you can only see so small a portion of the map. It did cause me to ward a little more than usual, though, because when your vision is limited to what's around you and what shows up on the minimap, vision is especially key. I'm glad I listened to my friend almost immediately when he told me to unlock my camera. Though I think another one of our friends has yet to unlock his, which baffles me.

It's set like that when you first start playing, because you may not recognize your character, where your character is, or where the camera is on the map. Some people just never turn it off.

But yeah, that's a common glitch, you can fix it by restarting.

I keep my screen locked most of the time so I don't have to constantly reposition it as I move.

But I have lock/unlock set to side click on my mouse wheel so I can unlock and scoope around whatever I want with no issues.

You don't play with locked camera. You survive.

If you can't undo locket camera, click anywhere on the minimap and hold it. Now you should see the place where you clicked on the map. Now, still holding the mousebutton, press space and everything should work again.

I guess some champions work in some situations better with locket camera, especially if they are very mobile and you might lose sight of them, but I can't get used to it, so I never player with locket camera.
