Kayn's passive - I don't think i have much of a choice

I have to wait 4 minutes for the desired form to become available and there is no way to reduce that time. It also sucks that Kayn literally has no passive until you are able to choose a form

I killed 2 ranged champions and a melee champions 2 times so why is Raast form becomes available but Shadow Assassin does not?

There was once game that I had to wait 2 minutes for the desired form to become available.

So I guess the only solution for this is that if you know if you are going red, gank melees; if you are going blue, gank ranged (mostly bot and camp the living shit out of them)
