its really hard for him to track down squishies and mobile threats.... sooooooo whats our meta like?

oh right, 5 squishy mobile targets who thrive on early game leads.

trundle is fine, its the meta thats hurting him is all.

honestly i feel whats wrong with trundle atm is how the pro's build him (which isn't suited for the current meta imo)

0 attack speed on a champion that works great with attack speed. imagine everyone building Yi without any attack speed and you would get the same problem.

my question is this. ever since they removed Q on towers why is everyone still insisting on building things like sheen items?

why is almost no one rushing a item 3153 which imo has always been and still is a core item on him? and it allows him to duel with some of the biggest lane bullies that are popular in toplane Darius who will wreck anyone who builds trundle the way he is commonly build 1-2 hybrid items and then full on tank.

trundle imo has great flexibility in his build path's but people stick to 1 type of playstyle for him which is simply dumb. he can go attack speed hp shred with item 3153 which works against tank toplaners or super tanky dps people like Darius Poppy Malphite he can go for the sheen route which works better against people like Fiora Yasuo Riven (his usual build that you see works against these) or you can go super cheese item 3301 item 1006 I know its silly but it works against ranged poke harass laners like Teemo Kennen Quinn the point here is not to upgrade but that it allows you to at least stay in lane get xp and then get the counter items against the enemy you are up against like item 3211 > item 3111 item 3065 vs ap and item 3047 > item 3742 > item 3025 vs ranged ad.

Trundle's kit gives him plenty of attack speed. It's on-hit items that he synergizes well with. While it's true that his Q no longer damages structures, he still gets the auto-reset, which is where having a Sheen comes in handy. While Botrk is great on Trundle, it can be a risky item to rush as it offers no HP, making him vulnerable to burst. Also, seeing as his ult has a much longer cooldown with the nerfs, rushing an HP item is a much more safe option to avoid getting snowballed on by a champ with a cheesy early game.

maybe not against the likes of darius/fiora/other bruisers but he is a solid conter pick into tanks

Received too many nerfs all at once. Pillar I can kind of understand, given how well support Trundle was doing, but everything else was too much, especially after Fervor got nerfed.

He is still a big bully at top lane & monstrous at late game. People right now just don't play him because "WELL LCS DON'T PLAY HIM SO HE MUST SUCK HURR DURRR"
