Why Aurelion is getting nerfs?

Since his release all he gets are nerfs. He wasn't op then, he wasn't op last patch, so why he's getting nerfs every patch? He's not even popular and now he's pickrate is gonna drop even more. What do you guys think?

He's rediculously good right now. He's easily top tier in mid, and very strong in both jungle and top.

Nerfs help tone him down a bit. He gets punished more when CC hits him and his stars turn off, but the nerf gets negated a bit because he gets to perchase more CDR in his core build now.

Ult does less damage, which means fewer oneshots, but his stars are still doing 40% of a squishy's health bar per pop, so his damage is still very much there.

If you're thinking of picking him up, he's still going to be fine tbqh.

Because at higher Elo's i hear he is actually really strong

His winrate is crazy high and CLG is using him at MSI. He saw a huge winrate spike this patch and it's obvious that some of the new items are strong on him.
