Why Do People Surrender

Why do people surrender? Also when surrendering, why do they put the blame on me when im the only one carrying? It takes one person to ruin this game. That one person was Rumble. Who literally died 3 times in the first 5 minutes then continued to blame our whole team for not helping. I couldve carried us to victory easily (ive done it many times), but nope. Everyone surrenders but me, no say for me i guess and just another defeat because of that one person who screws up your game.

League community sucks man, nothing you can do. Keep your head high, mute them and just think about next game (assuming you've lost already). Never give up hope.

The reasons why I surrender if a game is truly hopeless and its just not worth my time playing. However I rarely every say yes or make a surrender vote in a ranked game...

Normal games are supposed to be fun. If it isn't fun anymore to 4 people on your team, it's their right to surrender it, even if you may have lots of fun.

I surrender when the chance to win is so low that it's not worth my time to see the game through.

because there is a point at which you're too far behind, like a 15k gold lead, and have to bank on the enemy making a huge throw mistake, or a multitude of mistakes in order to win. most of the time that doesnt happen, so its better to surrender, try again, and hope for the best. instead of waste time when you know you only have a 5% chance of success and prolong the struggle.

at some point, even if you were to score a pick on the enemy vayne whos 20-0, their 4 man squad is still stronger than your whole group

or your team is super early game focused like lee sin and leblanc, and the enemy team is all about the late game, like a 7k hp sion.....

its up to the team to decide when to give up the fight, i always encourage play it out, 3 of them could disconnect, but i wont be angry if all 4 of them surrender, i cant force them to do something they dont want to do.

There is a point where surrenders should happen. In norms not surrendering when clearly behind is literally intentionally trolling. You're just stubbornly wasting time everyone could be using to move onto another game. You can come back from horribly lost games but why waste 20 - 40 minutes (Nearly the time span of a new game) trying when you can get into a new game and have a fresh start? Normals are for practice and enjoyment. Sticking it out for the chance of a throw happening or coming back is literally just wasting everyone's time.

In ranked it's fine to never surrender the only objective is win for more lp to climb.

In norms not surrendering when it's already clear the enemy has won should be a bannable offense. It's worse than verbal toxicity in my opinion. You're just forcing them to enduring the horrible torture of a losing game.

Because a match like that is a waste of time. And no one is going to trust you to carry even if you are doing good. The rest of your team isn't suddenly going to start playing better and that team isn't going to lose their advantage off of one opponent.
