If they helped with stats and such that would make laning with her well... less forced? I don't see a problem with the idea, she was played mid for a while back in the day and there are people that would be happy to not be screwed into using her in the jungle. (variety is always a plus.)

It isn't going to break the game to give lane Eve some love. She originally was a laner and that part of the community was stripped of that even before the rework.
