No wonder they can't rise above class B.

I've seen many comparisons in this new, awesome anime, & I couldn't help, but talk about it. **Spoilers ahead if you are watching this anime, so don't read on until you've seen the episode. **

Okay, so I decided to watch the next episode of One-punch man, & as I watched, I couldn't help but realize how many comparisons I was able to make based off of the hero's actions, the citizens, & the low-class/tier heroes. In the order in which I witnessed them:

Good players going unnoticed This goes well past this episode, & more towards when Saitama (One-punch Man) first joined the Heroes association. Upon joining, he went through "Vigorous" training, & exercises to be placed in ranks S, through D, depending on how well he did. Although he's literally the strongest hero in the Hero program (That we know of,) He was Given C rank, where as his determined apprentice was given S rank. Genos (Saitamas apprentice,) tries his best to show Saitama his strength, & how much better he can become as his apprentice, but in the end, Saitama casually handles most situations with no care. Even after stopping meteor from eradicating all of Z-City, Taking down a titan, destroying a life-form created by humans neglect to be earth-friendly, & even a crazed scientist experiment from escaping, & going on a complete rampage, He goes home to sit in front of his small T.V, & resume life getting almost no recognition, & not expecting any.

Unpunished Toxic players getting Honest/good players in trouble So just like my second to last match, I specifically had two players do just what the two brothers in this anime did. I joined the match with all but one, & It was our ADC's Supp. I grabbed what I could in Jungle, before rushing bot to help Kalista out, & successfully got her a kill, dying to their weakened ADC afterwards. It was a good Six minutes, when Thresh finally joined back in, & I had no ill words for him what-so-ever. I had already had a stressed out day, so I didn't chat too much, & just worked on katching up as jungle, & helping my team. At one point, I let the enemy team know top was gone early-game, & due to my early-game jungling being "Fucked" that I couldn't provide the assistance top needed from me. I also pointed out without being an arse about it that our Mid (Azir) was being too aggressive for how squish he was at the time, & was then told to stop whining, & stop being salty. they then reported me for asking them when I was salty, & end-game lobby tried to turn their behaviour around, & work everyone against me. I simply tried to help my team, but they both reported me, & even added that "It was a great match, until Fidd started talking, or ruining," and didn't even respond when I asked why they were reporting me after I shot down their first response of me "shit-talking" which there was none of it from me. Of course I get the "You have been reported" message on my screen, which I can't recall ever seeing, prior to this match, & it highly upset me. one of those two players even went to say some encouraging, statement towards me, as if to hide their toxicity in the late-game lobby. If I remember correctly, I think it was "Good-luck Fiddle" Even one of my team-mates said "Lone, it's not your fault man" before our defeat. It's people like this that eventually make good players crack. I can't deny that I said at least two negative statements to both these players a good thirty seconds before our defeat after being made out to be the bad guy, when my team wasn't toxic at all, & I was honestly just trying to play a match to cool off.

The innocent civilians These are the people that the low-tier/rank heroes that are hot-headed (such as the two that intentionally tried to make Saitama feel like crap,) convince into "rioting," & feeling the need to have him/her cast out, & feel that this individual pay for his "Vicious" actions towards the community. Saitama prevented a meteor from hitting Z-City, & sending out shock-waves strong enough to pulverize this city, & damage surrounding ones as well. Upon destroying this meteor however, it obviously shattered, & rained meter fragments, or Meteorites down onto Z-City. The damage was massive, but nothing compared to what would have happened had the meteor actually landed. Of course, the civilians were blinded, & didn't think things through clearly, & listened to the heroes without second thought. there were no casualties, & yet, everyone was mad, because although the meteor could not be stopped, there was destruction. Even though he was able to lower the damage of the inevitable impact. no one saw this, & he of course was made out to be the bad guy. even though he kept his cool through the majority of it all, he still ended up cracking, as chill as he is, & getting upset with the civilians he saved, & even DEFENDED himself from the two brothers who then attacked him.

The amount of toxic players, compared to that of well-behaved players seems to overwhelm well-behaved players to the point of consuming the Well-behaved players with darkness. I do agree with one line from the report I received. We all have our days, but this issue in-game was irrelevant from my actual real-life stress. I feel as though Riot sees what's going on, but they don't SEE what's actually happening. I like the majority of the recent updates, but I feel more time could be invested into the toxicity of the community; I walked into a game-stop a month or so ago, & talked with the cashier about League, & her words were: "You're the first person to come in here that plays league who isn't a stuck-up ass-hole.

So far, anytime anyone has come in here for League cards, they don't talk, or they are rude." She told me about one guy who came in, & was being a total smart-ass to her, & she almost blew up on him.I do feel like the amount of toxic players from back then have decreased, but also feel like more innocent are punished than there should be. With such rules, & regulations to how you should act while playing League, I'd expect the toxic ones to actually get punished, & the Well-behaved players to actually be either understood, or given proper treatment for something he/she did not do. Until then, I do what Saitama does. I try to help out the best I can, get spat on by toxic players, get reported, & go Home to try again tomorrow.

I thought I made sure to include the non-toxic players as well I understand not all players are like this, like the team I mentioned. Although we were losing, we were working our hardest to fight the odds, & not arguing among ourselves. I actually read a discussion someone shared a week, or so ago from someone using a smurf account, & getting stuck in Silver III. He was Diamond if I do remember clearly, & stated himself he knows we are struggling down there, & that there are even players like that in Diamond, & Platinum. The bottom picture with Bang walking away representing the two top teirs isn't a complete negative, but it's aimed directly towards the two that put saitama down. He actually felt that Saitama was strong enough to handle what was happening, which is why he didn't intervene. It wasn't so much a scene-by-scene compare, but more like pictures I threw together to describe how a player could feel, & to show how it feels to be in the worst of situations when it comes to dealing with toxic people.

Honestly, it will never fully go away ever. There will always be people who go out of their way to make others feel horrible, and no matter the system, people will continue to be toxic, flame, rage, etc. However, no system will ever be put into place that would actually properly handle cases of toxicity while also only sparing the innocent because what one person considers innocent and what another is what stops any system from being perfect.

If the system is too harsh, it is bad because it doesn't factor in people having rough patches, we are human, and the current system, while bad for another reason, factors that it, it means people who are only incredibly bad sparingly don't get punished. So it falls into a pick your poison kind of thing. Do you want a system so harsh that even people who truly don't deserve it get punished, or a system lax enough that you can say anything? Finding that mid way is difficult

I understand what you are saying, but what should you do in an instance where you are literally reported for nothing? Say you muted everyone, didn't say anything, & still ended up being notified that you were reported for negative actions? Are there measures taken to ensure the reporters aren't actually the ones that need to be reported?

Honestly, this is why we need the Tribunal back, while I feel like it is honestly rather hard to even get a warning based solely on false reports, I doubt it is impossible. However, apparently a new system is coming out where false reporters votes will not only get taken even less seriously, but their false reports can get them counter reported now.
