The mystery of Match Making
So I have a theory and I think that some one good at math could put together an algorithm that would help all of us track how to get better match making.
Basically I think there is a pattern to when large numbers of shitty people play.
And no I don't mean bad, I am in Wood VII we are all bad down here, I mean the raging, flaming, trolling kinda guys that just want to watch the rift burn.
When I go on a win streak I will go with out seeing even 1 such player, and when I get tilted and lose several in a row there are 1 or 2 in every game. And not just on my team, in more than one of my loses (and 1 of my wins that I can remember) the team that won was fighting in the post game comments asking people to report a toxic teammate.
I was looking at my match history and that was when it clicked. I win 4 games on this day. then lose 5 on this day. The advice the high ELO guys is always when you lose a game stop playing. I think there is a pattern to the timing I just am not smart enough to figure out what that is? When School is out? Full Moon?
The point is a players ability isn't the only thing that makes a game go bad, some times the best player on your team is more interested in griefing his teammates than in carrying them. Also these people may not always be toxic, like something about the timing just makes people more prone to it. Just an Idea, but I think it has at least as much weight as "Riot is fixing the games against me to keep me in Bronze" Conspiracy people seem to like so much.
Also [galio-happy] because i always want use this but never have a reason
