which champions do you think have bad ults?

I was playing Taliyah and while her battle mage kit already suffers from lack of reliable burst i couldnt help but feel that it was her more often than not useless ult that really holds her back from being a desirable pick. What champions do you think could see significant improvement to their playability with changes to their ult?

I think Nocturnes ult is pretty underwhelming for how every meta champion in the game can just dash it or disengage it. Assuming they are waiting for it- which they should be.

Maybe if they made it grant vision of all enemy champions, on top of what it already does- like TF's ult. It might make up for how unimpactful of a champion he is.

ryze. 2 second cast time and very easy to interrupt, no combat stats or damage, very low range until lvl 11 (can barely cross the river), can easily ruin a fight without proper coordination.

Volibear So scaling on a champ that you can’t afford to build AP items on. Cast time delay.

Quinn ultimate is the shadow of what it used to be... she used to have a melee form which boosted her ability and 80% bonus attack speed in that form.. she also had missing health semi AoE execute damage wich was amazing on the role she is formely used(Top)... now Valor is nothing but a Taxi and the rain of arrow damage is less than 1 basic attack and only is useful to make Harrier proc on closest enemy champion..

Malzahar It's so good that he's not allowed to have his kit or deliver on his fantasy

like I want to be a swarm lord not a suppression machine

the main issue with that logic is that with the voidling mechanics you depend on the suppression to ensure they hit the target, otherwise they will just die trying to reach it.

this doesnt molest much for the AP build (because you can offset the lack of inmovilization with item 3116 ) but the old AD Malzahar would have been unable to do what he did best which was locking down the enemy and let the voidlings turn it into shreds.

being more direct, he needs a complete rework/relaunch.

Yeah replace the fucking ult with something that makes up for that, and buff the minions.

like how about minion spawn points or some shit?

mini zz rots that target the shit you're targetting, pops out a malz voidling every 5/3/1 seconds, 3 charges and yes they multiply on hit

They have a point though. Bar an actual full reversion malzahar is always going to have the same issues riot has always had with him. At this point a rework by a good designer is the best we can hope for. I want CT to do it under a pen-name though.

Kayle is out dated. especially whenTaric does everything her ult does better with his ult.

Quinn idk who thought her ult needed to be murder, but i will never forgive them.

while kayle and taric ults seem similar their uses are actually quite different in practice. Tarics ult cant hold a candle to kayles ult when in situations where a single target requires sudden damage immunity. On the other hand what tarics ult lacks in expediency it makes up for in aoe. Imo i would pick kayles ult over tarics any day, tarics requires too much team coordination to do its best whereas kayles just requires good reaction time.

edit: also kayles ult is free wheras tarics ult costs 100 mana and kayles ult has 2/3 the cooldown tarics does and at max rank kayles ult lasts longer than tarics

With the mobility creep in the game JarvanIV is pretty underwhelming.

You can side step it, you can side step nocturnes ult as well. Its completely stupid. Theres a threshold of movespeed that you have to be at inorder to actually sidestep it tho, I don't know what that threshold is exactly
