Sion can no longer smite during Q

QOL decreased when he was changed to no longer be able to smite while in Q animation. I suppose this was because of Sion's Q/R reset that was fixed, and changed the way smite worked with his Q (accidentally?).

Could we possibly get this back? Or was it changed intentionally?
