Why doesn't chat say which champ they talk about when...

someone's on a killing spree, gained first blood, has a double kill, has a shut down/has been shut down.

It just says "Dr Poro is on a killing spree." instead of "Dr Poro (Wukong) is on a killing spree."

But if you buy a trinket, it does say "Dr Poro (Wukong) purchased Warding totem (trinket)."

good point. summoner names are dust and smoke. the people we play with change pretty much every game, and we usually identify each other by the champion we play and we even adress each other by the champions name.

if anything the champion name should always be mentioned first, since it gets less confusing.

more like "wukong (dr poro) has been killed by vayne (captain smegma)"

I don't mind how it's written, I just don't want to look into scoreboard and hover my mouse over every icon to find out who the hell they're talking about when I missed on the initial announcement (for example if you were in the shop).

because the code is made by riot?

Please, Riot. It can't be hard to change the text a bit, can it? If it is, then it's definitely time to unwire some of that spaghetti coding. You can't keep that stuff up forever.
