Veigar support feels right.

I get more ap on Veigar taking Relic shield and just getting assists than I do going mid with him. It honestly feels like his kit was catered to a poke lane bot with a hard hitting adc with some sort of cc.

Vayne can condemn into his wall from any angle and Jhin can snare inside of his cage because it counts as a hit regardless if you stun or not. Plus if you build him with redemption and a ward item you're basically unstoppable with your adc unless they come at you with 4+.

I dunno, maybe I'm lucky and have had competent adcs but Veigar support feels better than mid IMO.

I've played with a few veig supports and am never unhappy when he gets locked in

His prison is absolutely brutal bottom lane, and on a support. And with his ult even if he isn't building much ap he's still scary to the enemy mid.

I can vouch for that last part. The enemy team was getting mad at their Talon mid for not roaming bot and he replied in all chat with something like "Fuck no, Veig support with ash adc, I'd rather cut myself."

Maybe pre update talon but when you don't have a blink anymore he can just put his cage around the ADC and you are useless.

Depends on the matchup honestly, All he really brings in my opinion is his Cage. The main issue i have with playing him is Bard and Zyra and Karma and lets not forget his worst nightmare Morgana who can blackshield, he just is so easy to catch if their jungler decides to come bot he can't really do much early and his Hp pool is pretty low to be honest.
