Shyvana's Ult needs to be fixed

Shyvana's ult has a little problem. When you die later in the game, it takes longer for your ult to start recharging. Any other champ, if you die, your CDs will start going down. Shyv has that weird fury mechanic that does nothing besides regulate her ult and CDR doesn't help there.

Let's put this in perceptive: Other champs dying at 18 - 60 second recharge (minus CDR) Shyvana dying at 18 - 60 seconds to return to life followed by another 50 seconds max (not attacking anything)... which means almost 2 minutes. That's a lot. Even if you can TP right to the action (burning a summoner spell) it still takes 20 seconds of attacking which no other champ has to do, just to get your ult back.

Riot, Shyv needs a little tender love. Sure she might be half a dragon, but she needs her snuggle time too. This is one place you can give it to her.

I thought this thread would be about the fact that her ulti never seems to knock enemies back with you when you launch yourself.

I agree. This is just a quality of life fix that needs to happen.

I would say no. Part of the price she pays for having easy access to an ultimate early and mid game is this.

Another reason is that interesting mechanics are almost always fun. Shyvana's resource is different to everyone else's (even if it has the same name). Don't make her "normal".

As a counterargument I would say that if you DON'T die then you can have your ulti much faster than other champs. It's a risk/reward balance.

If you are playing the tank, your job is to initiate and get blown up. Frankly deaths happen in the game. So she doesn't have any CC and she has the longest CD of hard initiators.

The tanks job is not to die, it's to soak damage, get aggro and disrupt the enemy team, dying is just a side effect, if you get out on 10 hp, you've still done your job.
