Seriously, i think it should be a thing, considering how much of a difference it'd make in the community, there wouldn't be as much player whining about losing lp and rank due to these trolls in their games. Plus, it might discourage a few trolls, maybe not many, who would feel the weight being removed from the people they play with.

Pie Cubed1 votesAs much as this would help, it's easily subjected to abuse. Also, detecting trolls is harder than it looks. You can just look and say "oh hey that person was AFK," but for trolls, it's probably not easy to detect in Riot's system since there's so many. Still a good idea, but the two issues are abuse and difficulty to detect.
SymbolicFear1 votesThing is, riot's system takes note of where and when players die, as well as chat logs. Plus, they have their playerbase to report them. For example if one player gets 3/4 reports for griefing/inting and what have you, then Riot should have a group kind of like the tribunal where someone goes in and checks out the game. Honestly, if Riot WANTED to do things correctly, then they would. There isn't really much to stop them considering they already have certain systems in place they could use to detect trolls.
