Its not JUST the supports job to ward, a support can only have up to 4 wards at a time on the map, every member of the team can ward, even if the support doesn't get sightstone, their can be 15 wards on the map for just a single team if you use control wards. Just ward, its not hard, nor is it time consuming, and it puts your team fairly far ahead.

Tribbles Foxfolk1 votesDoesn't mean a hill of beans if people aren't using the vision it grants anyway. Kind of why I'm favoring Mage Supports right now; no need for a Sightstone since you're gonna probably pick up early doubles and get easy assist/kill(secure) gold.
My FQC > Sightstone, at least in Unranked. Hell, on first back, I'm still probably gonna skip Sightstone for a Frostfang, Boots, and Control Ward.
