Im so upset about lux ( From a Lux Main)

I love playing lux. Ive mained her since season 3, and I enjoy all of the aspects of her kit. I however, cannot bring myself to play her in ranked anymore. It is just impossible to win with her and nothing I do matters when I play her. Some might say "well thats just you, you arent playing lux right". But I can easily tell that I play lux much, much better than any other champion, and still lose extremely more often with her.

In season 4 I played 58 ranked games with lux. had a 4.08 KDA, and won 67% of my games as lux.

However, in season 5. I could only play 38 games with her before I just quit cold turkey. I had a 3.32 KDA, and won 39% of my games as lux.

Going from 67% one season, into 39% the next is upsetting. I love this champion, but I only expect to keep losing all my games with her. She simply relies way too harshly on her team to do well in higher tiers. I feel like I have no control on the outcomes of games when I play lux.

seems like the ranked system is doing its work: you win 67% -> climb the ladder into higher tiers -> lose more. and the fact that u only had like 38 games, means u might have gotten lucky, and got placed beyond ur skill tier.

I fully agree with this comment and made a little mini article on it myself in how this type of scenario happens all the time where you either get placed to high or to low which gives a false sense of how good you really are. For if you get placed to low, your games feel to easy and you believe you are a god when you are not, if you get placed to high then well, this post happens.

Best advice i can give is keep practice and have fun.

Ive been gold for 2 seasons... I dont really think im "not supposed to be there". Actually. Low gold is where I think I belong.

I think lux is super strong right now I just started playing her and have been doing really really well. Her mid-late game is fantastic. M There is a little bit of an issue with how the games been snowballing and lux isn't exactly an early game champ but I think she's top tier right now By the way, I just looked up your rank and saw you in a game playing volli jungle even though the lee sin is also jungle. So my question is, out of pure curiosity, who didn't want to adc, you or lee? Lol

I was first pick. He was forth. He wanted to go adc, untill me and the guy "Death to LGBT" got into an argument. I think they were duo que and were trying to troll. I still won the game though.

I have no problem winning with her in diamond. She's really strong right now.

Just need to play enough games so that you get through the runs of bad teammates. Happens to everyone. Or wait for dynamic queue to launch if you're not feeling lucky.
