Removing RNG

How would you do that?

Imho:

  • Zoe: minions don't drop spell shards anymore (was it even needed in the first place? if she ends up suffering too much for this, just give her some compensation buff)

  • Dragons: make their random order known from champ select. This way they are still random, but it's a kind of random that can be strategized with/against.

  • Crit: eh, this is a tricky one. Let's see... as a role, ADCs are supposed to provide sustained DPS. The goal, to provide the damage to kill tanks and take objectives. Mmm... what if they were split into 2 sub classes? On-hit adcs could focus on tank-shredding and objectives, with AS and %HP damage, while ranged casters could focus on CDR and AD for either AoE damage or single target burst (like mages do). This way crit could be removed altogether as a mechanic, while preserving the role of ADCs. Some champs that would end up as on-hit adcs: KogMaw , Vayne Some champs that would end up as casters: Sivir , MissFortune

  • Afaik there are no other random mechanics in the game.

The people you get on your team is pretty random. If I could get only diamond smurfs the game would probably be much better XP

There is TF passive, Tryndamere passive which is tied to crit, Kindred passive, to an extent Yasuo passive, but those are the only things I can think of.

Discounting crit, and Zoe because you could in theory ban her every game for the rest of your life, is Dragon being random all that big of a deal? Sure knowing could prompt you to pick a specific champion, but not knowing obviously doesn't make you avoid a champ. It's not something I ever see people focus on, that being said its not as strategic as one might think due to how contesting tends to happen. Usually I wills see someone try to steal a dragon, or one team tries to force a fight against the other.

I never see a team take the first spawn Infernal and then try to keep the second spawn Air drake for the rest of the game so that the enemy team can't get Mountain or Infernal drakes. Basically if a dragon is up, someone will go for it when they have an opportunity because that is an advantage they can seize.
