Hexdrinker is one of the best defense items in the game against magic burst, especially at its price point.
SparrowPriest4 votesI completely agree. Its like the equivalent of seekers armguard for mid ad assassins.
Lord Dusteon4 votesHexdrinker is pretty good. It gives nice AD and MR, and a magic shield for if anyone tries to burst you. In addition, it upgrades into a very high AD lategame anti burst option for assassins or bruisers.
BlackRaven1 voteshexdrinker is horrible early.
DarthSpectrum1 votesHexdrinker is actually decent.
Additionally, AP has always had the best items in game. Playing against that disadvantage is just part of being melee.
