Why does Riot lie to its paying customers?

I am curious how a company can constantly lie to its player base and think in the long run this will help their game.

Another question, does Riot think that lying to players who mained Mord and Veigar for YEARS and nerfing the 2 already weaker champions helps grow their game or make players quit?

**Riot isn't even trying to enforce a meta anymore. They are wiping out 15%~ of the champion roster with each new hyper CC/mobile champion release and giving already OP mobile money making champs like Zed Lee Nid and Ahri either a free pass from nerfs or even "reworking" these champs in a way that still makes them incredibly powerful. **

The writing is on the wall for the direction of this game and I cannot believe I am watching Riot alienate its old playerbase.

Question, you do see the pot vs kettle argument you put forth in your own post right?

Because most of us put up with it.

Because they successfully brainwashed majority of the playerbase.

you think bard is hyper mobile? He has one mobility spell on a long CD.

Although, admittedtly, it CAN cover quite a long distance.

Even if Veigar/Morde ended up weaker (which Morde didn't), Riot didn't make these changes with the intention of nerfing them.

They did not lie. They just executed it poorly.
